Prof, it's been great running into you on Tapestry from time to time. It is heartening to see good people returning to the cavern after absences. I promise if I see you on the Great Tree shard on the Who's Online page, I'll drop in and say hello.
I hope to see more Great Tree folk dropping in too...your stories and company are missed in the Cavern. |

Thanks, Deius. I would love to stop in on the Great Tree shard more often myself. But, with my crazy work schedule, I never see anyone there. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Well it's been hard for me to spend time on my own shard But lately I've been making an effort to be there in the evenings and on the weekends when I can. I've been considering getting another co-admin from the East Coast who can be here in the late afternoon and early evening when I can't be because of work.
One thing that I want to work on is the IC aspect of Uru again. The fahtehrthtehs have been making regular appearances on the shard. And although the DRS has disbanded, they are working on forming a new organization that will be hosted on the Great Tree shard.
So I hope that more people from the old hood will drop by and visit when you get the chance.

CD? What do you need a CD for? Or do you have to re-install? _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Like I said, I haven't been in UU in a long time. Don't I need the CD like when I play the single player game? _________________ Jaharen

You don't need the CD for UU. If you've already got the game installed on your PC and UU is installed, just fire it up! _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Question...
TPotS servers? Been thinking about firing up UU again and was wondering how we might go abouts meeting people in Rolep or Er'cana. Is it restricted to the H'uuru servers or has it been more widely distributed?
Too lazy to check the CO forum myself.... Was thinking of a mini revival/reunion type thing (even if just for a day) and would like to catch up with GT folk. |

Ashtar, can you field this question? I've still been too lazy to set this up. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Although it's possible, I wouldn't recommend a large reunion on a Tpots server just yet. There are still too many bugs that cause people to crash, and the crashing increases expotentially depending on the number of people in a particular age. So if you want to have a reunion, I would recommend a normal UU server It sounds like a great idea though. If you want to set one up on the weekend on the Great Tree shard, Welder and myself can be there to provide entertainment and other Admin duties.

Shorah everyone!
I have been lurking for a long time but I guess it is about time I got on here and said something!
As some of you know I am a co admin on the Great Tree Shards (UU and Tpots). I was unfortunatly not involved in Live but I have found home in UU since last september. I have made a few music videos about UU that some of you may have seen. I have been trying to go through the forums and posts to learn as much as I can about the history and purpose of The Great Tree and I like what I have read I have met a lot of you guys in cavern and I hope to meet more of you someday.
Thanks for letting me be a part of this group
