I'm signing up for Google AdSense. The intention is to place some small ads unobtrusively on the front page of this site. The reason is because my administration costs are something like $60 a year in cash costs, and $?? a year in personal time allotment.

I usually HATE ads, but these are generally tastefully done (like most of google's inventions). If they look ugly or are generally bad, I will take them down immediately.

If anyone has any objections to this, please let me know. Your opinions are important to me.

For clarification, there will be NO banner ads, just small links on the side toward the bottom.

I have no objections. In fact, I would like to see what the ads look like for personal reasons. I'd also be interested in knowing what the financial arrangements are.

EDIT: Never mind. LOL. I see them. But, I still would like to know the financial aspect.

If there's isn't any real return, I'll probably remove them.

I'm assuming you get some percentage kickback based on the hits from the ad links from this site. That means beefing up the traffic.

I didn't say it! But, sure, go for it! Smile

I just looked this morning, and in one day I made $0.36. That was with 147 page views and 5 click throughs (I think they were all me). So obviously I'm not out to retire early from this. They distribute a check once you hit $100, so maybe sometime next year... Smile
