|
|
Over at Penny Arcade, down towards the bottom in the PAX comment from Gabe, Gabe wrote:
"I’m wrapping up a little two page comic that sort of sets up Myst V." And then at the very end, he's got a picture and this additional comment: "Here’s a little peek at what I’m doing for Myst. Some of you will hopefully recognize Sirrus and his crystalline prison world."
Does anyone know if this is going to be bundled into the Myst V game packaging itself? |

Their site is down(!) right now, so I can't look...
I'm not sure about PA art showing up in Myst V packaging (if that's what you're asking), but I know that GD was hoping to get to do a Myst V demo at the upcoming Penny Arcade eXpo (PAX)...
Wish I could go. _________________ #Brian Fioca

I'm guessing Ubi will be hosting the comic on their site as a promotion eventually.
I'll guess again that Sirrus's presence in the comic means there will be a "voice over" with a montage. I can imagine Yeesha or Atrus talking about their family's troubled past. |

Nice! Weird that they would put it up piecemeal, though. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Cool, very strangely stylized though.
But it does my heart good to see anyone putting so much love and attention into anything Myst. Way to go, PA!
Can't wait to see the rest of them. Thanks for posting links, everyone! _________________ ~Moiety Jean

Cool! Thanks, Marten. I like it. Looks like this book might be kind of long when they get done with it considering these two pages are purely introductory. Unless, of course, the book will only serve as an introduction to the game itself. Can't wait to find out. Doing it backwards, though, considering I've finished with the game. Still...I like the style. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

My understanding, from the PA news post, is that the two pages are all there will be. |
