Marten ... if you're willing to share a room ... good possibility you could share a room at the host hotel with Rex Havoc and I. Just have to pay 1/3 of the room. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will talk with Rex about it. _________________

If Marten has his own plans and doesn't take you up on the room, then I'd gladly go in on splitting a hotel room... Marten, you've got first dibs on the offer. _________________ KI: 34353 |

I'd prefer to not cause crowded conditions in someone's room
Talking to Cycreim as he doesn't have a room either. But, I might take up someone's offer of floor space if I can't work out a plan for a hotel room with 1 bed per person quickly. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

I'll probably be bringing a bedroll anyway, so don't worry about beds. _________________ KI: 34353 |

We'll trade, you can order me a Mysterium shirt _________________

CAGraywolf & Cycreim,
Because Cycreim mentioned to me that he'll have a bedroll and doesn't care about having a bed, and I know I won't (don't have one, wouldn't want to drag one onto a plane for a 3 day weekend), I would like to suggest this:
You guys can work out amongst yourselves if you want to room together. I'll get a room by myself at another hotel.
I'm picking up a 2-bed bedroom at the Shilo Inn. If it turns out anyone else is attending on short notice and wants a bed to sleep in, they're welcome to join me.
Edit: I've booked airplane, rental care, and hotel room. Do I also need to contact Mysterium and register with them? The con register link on the website is broken. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Ramada Limited may have one room opening up, depending on if we move to the Ramada Suites. Will keep you posted, Marten.
Edit: Oop. Read all posts before replying.
But still, we may abandon our reservation at Ramada Limited if all in our party say yes to rooming at Suites. (I'm not sure why they wouldn't) _________________ ~Moiety Jean

Okay, I am officially a Mysterium participant...I bought my ticket tonight. I arrive Thursday night and leave very late Sunday night. (I hope some of you can hang out for awhile.)
Marten, I'll take you up on that spare bed.
Eleri, I'll PM you about the t-shirt deal.
This is gonna be sweet! Is it going to be too hot for our Great Tree jackets? Ah, the hell with it. Where else are we going to wear them and have it matter?
See you all there! _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Prof, I've been meaning to ask you... do you have any extra jackets? I'd gladly take one off your hands, in exchange for money, if you know what I mean... _________________ KI: 34353 |

Cycreim, I wish I could oblige, I really do. It wasn't the easiest task to get done the first time. I don't have any spares unfortunately. Also, I had them made in New York City while I was living there and now I'm in Connecticut. I'm not saying more jackets couldn't be made again someday but I'm certain they won't be made before Mysterium. We'll talk about it some more when we meet. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Alright. I was just wondering on the off chance that there were some extras kicking around, since actually buying one in person is way more convenient than shipping. _________________ KI: 34353 |

I'll be in Thursday night too. Perhaps we could share a cab from the airport, if the times worked out? It's a bit of a drive if I recall correctly, so that would save some money. Maybe we could pile some others too.
I'll be around till Sunday evening. There's a really nice little museum in Spokane I enjoyed-- although it's small it's very interesting, well organized, and informative-- so I may spend a bit of Sunday visiting there again (partly for my own interest, and partly so I feel like I'm doing something mildly professionally useful on my trip) but otherwise I'll be around. Anyone else interested in that sort of thing is, of course, welcome to come along.

Everyone be sure to read the "Mysterium Travel Information" thread at:
http://www.urulive.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=490
There is some major road construction on I-90 around the downtown area with many of the off-ramps closed.

You read my mind, Ashtar. I saw this over there this morning and thought to myself, "Self? You should post this over at GT. This is some valuable information." Then I said, "You know, I could really go for a blueberry bagel." So, I did. And here we are. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |
