|
|
Just wanted to announce some new Moderators. Based on the energy from Mysterium and all the new news about Live, I have a feeling this board will be growing a lot in the coming year. So, to prepare for that (and to alleviate some of the burden from the existing folks) I've made some new Moderators:
Cycriem
Marten
Saxy (Well, she always was one, but she's been gone. WB Saxy!)
Anna Catherine
Ashtar
Sometimes I wonder why we have moderators here, since we're really laid back about posts mostly. Most of it has to do with stemming off Spam, which we actually should have less of due to the fact that we turned on Administrator approval of new accounts. (How's that working, btw? I see a new user, did we approve them?) Mostly I think it's because the moderators serve as representatives of the board to new guests, and also help determine the future direction of the board.
I also want to say that Daedalus and I will be redesigning both the site and this board (just the theme of the board, though) in the coming month(s). We be able to be sleek and well organized for the new launch of Live. _________________ #Brian Fioca

Sounds great, Brian. A revamp will be in perfect order for the re-opening of the Cavern. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
BladeLakem is Eleri's poodle, and, no, I don't think the approval process went through correctly. He PM'd me over at UO and told me that he had received an error upon registering. When I looked into it everything seemed to be fine and since then he wrote back and said everything appeared to be normal. Since none of us got the authorization e-mail, I suspect his error message was related.
And a hearty CONGRATULATIONS to our new moderators!!
I agree, Brian, 2007 will probably be a pretty busy year here. Actually, as the documentary episodes unfold, I imagine the activity will begin to increase. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Ah, right. That's why I turned it off in the first place.
Hmm, I'll turn it back off and look into the problem.
Sorry guys... guess we'll just have to keep an eye out for spammers for a bit longer. _________________ #Brian Fioca

LOL.
Cycreim immediately begins a new regime filled with burning tires and popemobiles and some sort of Monty Python running style. _________________ ~Moiety Jean
