Chat log... I don't really have one of the whole sit-in event -- just of the exact conversation between Brian and I for the interview. Not a lot was said at the sit-in other than the action, if I remember correctly.

I'm scheduling tentatively for Saturday Sept 2:

10AM - 12PM: Part I filming in Great Tree Neighborhood
12PM - 2PM : Part II filming in Ae'gura

This leaves open: The first half of Part II filming (Eder Kemo), and the sit-in filming. We'll need to set a time for those.

Edit When's good for you on Saturday, Brian? (And Daed?)

Jean and I are going to Dave Matthews Band on Sat so we'll be leaving somewhere around... 3 or 4 PST. So sometime before that would be good if we do Sat.

What about Sunday (afternoon) or Labor Day (morning)?

I suppose I should mention that I hate, HATE, HATE trying to co-ordinate different people's schedules. It is always such a pain - this is a job I'd prefer someone else with more people skills to handle.

I'll just give my schedule, then the next person can give theirs, and we'll overlap things until we see where we're all available. How about that?

I can be available: Anytime Saturday, Sunday afternoon, and Monday before noon, Pacific time.

With enough notice, this weekend shouldn't be a problem. Friday night, Sat, Sun, and Monday (Woot! Labor Day!) are open.

Just out of curiosity, how long did Episode One take to film?

Also, I think it would be funny to place extras in the same positions as in this photo:

But that would be a lot of people.

OK. If we're going to do filming this weekend, I need to send the announcement out today so I'm not... uh... announcing things on terribly short notice.

I've decided it is easiest to just do everything on Saturday. I'm certain I can get all of the live footage for the sit-in and interview within an hour.

Sat Sep 2 10AM - 12PM PDT: Part I public filming in Great Tree Neighborhood
Sat Sep 2 12PM - 2PM PDT: Part II public filming in Ae'gura
Sat Sep 2 2PM - 3PM PDT: Part III public filming in Ae'gura

If filming for a segment ends early, then there will be a break until the next filming segment.

I need Daedalus during all three filming sessions, 10AM to 3PM PDT. I also need an edited log of the interview; as I understand how this event happened, there was the sit in, and there was idle chatter, and Daedalus privately conducted the interview with Brian. Occasionally, there were interruptions as others who came across the sit-in asked what was going on. So the way I think we can present this is like a news reporter on scene interviewing as the sit-in occurs. The discussion between Brian and Daed will be shown as a personal discussion and Brian can turn away from "the camera" to answer questions that anyone else directs to him outside of the interview. The rest of the idle chatter won't go into the film - we just need the interview + curious bystander interruptions.

I need five (5) more people, none of whom are Daedalus, during Part II (12PM to 2PM PDT), to approximate the positions of DRC members. You can pick whatever parts you prefer. Ideally these roles will be GTers as we're the ones putting on the production. I can pick up the role of Phil as I've done that for Episode 1 already.

I need Brian during Part III (2PM - 3PM PDT). We'll wrap no later than 3 so you can head on to your concert. (And have a good time. Dave Matthews Band... you'll have to tell us how it goes.)

I need buy-in for this weekend or the next opportunity for me to film is Sunday Sept 10.
